Tadelakt Shower Plaster | Color Atelier Paint & Plaster

A unique blend of lime plaster creates a beautiful finish that is water-resistant and durable. It will provide an excellent bond to any properly prepared porous substrate, interior or exterior. The mineral pigments are already incorporated into the formula; simply add water to mix. For custom color ordering, please contact us.

Naturally resistant to mold, mildew, and fungus. Tadelakt not only offers a beautiful finish, but it also helps to provide a healthy living environment.

Color Atelier Tadelakt can be applied to properly prepared shower floors, benches, walls, and ceilings. It is not recommended for floors outside the shower or in areas with regular foot traffic. For those applications—such as bathroom floors or countertops—we recommend our Resurface Plaster, a more durable alternative designed for high-wear surfaces.
For protection, use our two-component Urethane Sealer to provide chemical and stain resistance on floors and in steam showers. We do not recommend wax-sealers for Tadelakt floors or steam shower environments.

Tadelakt in wet areas requires a certain level of expertise, and knowledge, contact us for further information.

32 lbs. will cover approximately 200 sq ft in 1 coat. 2 coats are necessary for application.

FOR NON-WET AREAS: The drywall should be finished to level 3+. Prime with Color Atelier Bonding Primer. Apply Tadelakt once the primer is fully dry. Sealer, Wax are optional.

FOR WET AREAS: Over the studs, follow either of these recommended methods.
