All Color Atelier paints and plasters—including our standard colors—are tinted to order and therefore final sale.
You may cancel or modify your order within 60 minutes of placing it. After this window, orders are processed immediately and cannot be changed or canceled.
Orders are processed Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.
Most orders ship within 1–4 business days.
Processing time includes tinting (when applicable), packaging, and preparing your order for shipment.
Larger palletized orders may require additional handling time.
Standard domestic shipping takes approximately 1–6 business days after dispatch.
Small items (tools, samples) may ship via USPS Priority; most orders ship via UPS Ground.
Delivery dates are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
We ship across the continental United States through our online store.

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct.
Color Atelier is not responsible for lost packages, delays, or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
We do not currently offer expedited shipping at checkout.
If you require rush delivery, please email or call us and we will provide an expedited shipping quote.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
We strongly recommend adding ShipInsure during checkout to protect against:
Lost packages
Stolen packages
Damaged shipments
Frozen paint during transit
ShipInsure provides fast, approved claim replacements.
Once an order leaves our facility, Color Atelier is not responsible for carrier handling, delays, theft, or damage.
If no one is available at delivery, packages may be left unattended.
Color Atelier is not liable for theft or weather-related damage.
Because our eco-friendly mineral-based paints and plasters are sensitive to freezing:
Customers assume the risk of freezing in transit.
Color Atelier is not responsible for frozen or weather-damaged products.
If temperatures are near freezing, please delay ordering until conditions improve.
Colors may vary based on lighting, substrate, computer screens, and application technique.
We do not accept returns or issue refunds based on color dissatisfaction.
We strongly recommend:
Reviewing our hand-painted samples
Ordering sample jars before purchasing large quantities
Professional application for best results
Tinted products are final sale.
Returns are accepted on unopened, unused, and undamaged non-tinted items (primers, sealers, tools) within 14 days of delivery.
Conditions:
A valid proof of purchase is required.
Products must be in original condition and packaging.
Returns require prior authorization.
A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Delivery, shipping, and handling fees are non-refundable.
No returns accepted after 14 days.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Tinted paint and plaster (all colors)
Custom color matches
All samples
Hand-painted color cards and fan decks
Palletized orders
Any made-to-order or personalized products
Customers must arrange shipment back to Color Atelier.
If we provide a return label, the cost will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds are processed within up to 2 weeks once items are received and inspected.
We stand behind the quality of our materials. However, due to variations in surface conditions, application techniques, and environmental factors, we do not offer product warranties.
The buyer is responsible for determining whether the product is appropriate for their specific application and conditions.
