Color Atelier’s Mineral Primer is a high-solids, mineral-based primer designed to help Color Atelier Limewash Paint and Plaster apply smoothly and achieve a uniform finish. Suitable for interior and exterior walls and ceilings, it provides strong, consistent adhesion and creates an even base that promotes uniform absorption.
Premium-quality, mineral matte primer made with 100% acrylic. Odorless and zero VOC. Formulated specifically for Color Atelier’s Lime Paint and Lime Plaster, and compatible with other fine-grade, smooth plasters.
Recommended for extra masking or isolation of substrate is required.

The natural state of the primer is white, we may tint Mineral Primer for an additional fee with colors that are deemed necessary to do so (deep or dark color). Please contact us for help with placing this order as tinting primer is under production approval.
On new drywall surfaces or patched walls, always use a water based, stain blocking primer before our Mineral Primer.
1 G./ 12 lbs. Mineral Primer covers approximately 300 sq. ft. depending on the surface.
3.5 G./ 42 lbs. Mineral Primer covers approximately 1,050 sq. ft. depending on the surface.
