Fan Decks are hand-painted with two coats of authentic limewash paint, offering a true representation of each color’s unique texture and mineral matte finish. This curated collection includes all 76 shades from Color Atelier’s standard limewash and plaster palette, providing a helpful reference for selecting colors with confidence.
Slurry can be applied with a roller, trowel, or brush to achieve a variety of textures; ranging from a brushed linear effect to a smooth, troweled finish. It works as base coats as well as finish coats for interior and exterior surfaces.
The product bonds naturally to surfaces, creating a breathable and permeable finish. It can be applied directly over bricks, concrete blocks, plaster, or any untreated, unsealed mineral substrate. For previously painted or treated surfaces, we recommend priming with Color Atelier’s Bonding Primer to ensure proper adhesion.
5 Gallon | 32 lbs. will cover approximately 150 to 200 sq ft in 1 coat, depending on the desired thickness, application method, and the type of substrate.
2 Gallon | 12 lbs. will cover approximately 60 to 80 sq ft in 1 coat, depending on the desired thickness, application method, and the type of substrate.
It requires the addition of only clean water for mixing. Once the material is well-mixed, use it right away. Apply it with a roller, brush, or trowel, for your desired application. Allow the first coat to dry for 24 hours before applying the second coat. The natural state of Lime Slurry is white. Product can be tinted, or painted later with Lime Paint to change the color, and also enhance the finish. Slurry can also be custom tinted, pending production approval and subject to a minimum order quantity.
