Color Atelier’s Bonding Primer is a mineral-based, high-solids primer formulated with aggregates for use with Color Atelier’s plasters. Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces, it is designed to stabilize synthetic or unstable substrates and create a durable, mineral-ready surface.
Premium-quality, textured, mineral-based bonding primer that is odorless, zero VOC, and water based. Suitable for interior and exterior use, it adds tooth to the surface and is designed to stabilize synthetic or unstable substrates for successful plaster application.
Recommended for use with Color Atelier’s Limestone Plaster and Tadelakt on non-wet surfaces, as well as other plasters that require a solid, well-prepped base. Formulated with marble dust and mineral aggregates, it delivers strong adhesion and the precise texture needed to hold plaster in place during application and long after.
The aggregates create a uniform surface that helps plaster spread more consistently from the trowel, promoting even absorption and a more consistent final appearance.

The natural state of the primer is white, we may tint Bonding Primer for an additional fee with colors that are deemed necessary to do so (deep or dark color). Please contact us for help with placing this order as tinting primer is under production approval.
