A modern reinterpretation of ancient textures and materials, frenchCALIFORNIA’s capsule collection in collaboration with Color Atelier consists of six colors that feature soft, tonal variations centered on a neutral palette, enhanced by a selection of bolder colors that add a distinguishing look to a space.

"It has been such an honor to work with Color Atelier on frenchCALIFORNIA's first paint collection," says Guillaume Coutheillas, founder and creative director of frenchCALIFORNIA. "Having partnered with Burcu and Olivier on many projects for various clients before, it was such a different and rewarding creative experience to bring to fruition a collection that is all our own, from start to finish."
Inspired by the special people and places in France, California, and New York, the organic colors are made with Color Atelier’s Limewash, a natural mineral-based paint that is breathable, durable, healthy, and environmentally friendly, achieving a matte velvety finish. Each color mimics a surface found in the natural world, adding a sense of history and gravitas to a contemporary environment.
