Our clientele at Color Atelier ranges from architects, designers, and contractors, to design-savvy shoppers, homeowners, and DIYers.

We are currently looking for a Showroom Manager to become an integral part of our team. We are looking for someone who will be able to take ownership of our San Francisco showroom sales and day-to-day operations with a successful sales, and customer service background and experience in the paint, design, or construction industry. We would need this person to be able to represent our brand to the high standards that we maintain in our products, our customer service, and our client relations. This position is for someone who wants to grow with a company and add their energy and creativity to the team. 

This full time position is based out of Color Atelier's San Francisco Flagship Showroom, in the heart of the vibrant Mission District, close to Bart and Muni. The environment is fun, design-oriented, and creative. Great location with lots of shops, and restaurants around, also short walking distance to muni and bart stations.

We provide a competitive compensation package that includes a generous base salary plus performance-based bonuses and paid time off.

Position: Full-time

Start date: ASAP

Hours of work and days: Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m

Work Location: In person

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Showroom Manager is responsible for the direct management and leadership of the employees and operations of Color Atelier’s San Francisco showroom
  • Provide the absolute best customer service experience at our showroom, and online
  • Manage and build new and existing client relationships
  • Create and implement sales strategies
  • Answer sales and customer service phone calls, and follow up emails
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and be capable of giving expert color, finish and design advice
  • Willing to jump in when and where needed with no task too small
  • Produce quotes, sales orders, invoices, and delivery documentation for orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five years of previous related work experience; sales, customer service, management
  • Minimum of five years of previous related industry experience; design-architecture showroom
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with a structured sales process and ability to coach and mentor employees
  • Ability to use the internet, computer and software applications, databases, and spreadsheets. 
  • Willingness to take the extra steps needed to exceed our clients' expectations
  • Developing extensive knowledge across our products
