We are currently looking for a Showroom Manager to join our team, playing a crucial role in enhancing Customer Experience through exceptional customer support and effective Team Leadership by overseeing personnel management. We are looking for someone who will be able to take ownership of our San Francisco showroom sales and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, customer service, and team leadership, along with experience in a design-architecture setting or in paint, plaster, and showroom sales. 

We would need this person to be able to represent our brand to the high standards that we maintain in our products, our customer service, and our client relations. This position is for someone who wants to grow with a company and add their energy and creativity to the team. 

This full time position is based out of Color Atelier's San Francisco Flagship Showroom, in the heart of the vibrant Mission District, close to Bart and Muni. The environment is fun, design-oriented, and creative. Great location with lots of shops, and restaurants around, also short walking distance to muni and bart stations.

We provide a competitive compensation package that includes a generous base salary, paid time off, 401K, plus a performance-based bonus, if applicable.

Position: Full-time

Start date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: Depending on experience, $80 - 100k per year

Hours of work and days: Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Showroom Manager is responsible for the direct management and leadership of the employees and operations of Color Atelier’s San Francisco showroom
• Provide the absolute best customer service experience at our showroom, and online
• Manage and build new and existing client relationships, including but not limited to designers, architects, contractors, and stockists
• Serve as the primary resource for all matters concerning employees, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, professional development, leadership, and recruitment, while overseeing a team of 10 to 15 individuals
• Communicate daily with our Brooklyn team to facilitate client management, oversee order shipments, and handle product inventory
• Create and implement sales strategies for retail and wholesale
• Answer sales and customer service phone calls, and follow up emails
• Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and be capable of giving expert color, finish and design advice
• Willing to jump in when and where needed with no task too small
• Produce quotes, sales orders, invoices, and delivery documentation for orders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of five years of previous related work experience; sales, team leadership and customer service management
• Minimum of five years of previous related industry experience; design-architecture showroom
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with a structured sales process and ability to coach and mentor employees
• Ability to use the internet, computer and software applications, databases, and spreadsheets. 
• Willingness to take the extra steps needed to exceed our clients' expectations
• Developing extensive knowledge across our products
• Four years of High School with a diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred
