We are currently looking for an Operations Specialist and Showroom Sales professional to join our team and play a vital role in our operations and sales. We are looking for someone who will be able to coordinate our Brooklyn showroom's day-to-day operations, handle order fulfillment, and host showroom appointments with experience in a design-architecture showroom environment.

We would need this person to be able to represent our brand to the high standards that we maintain in our products, our customer service, and our client relations. This position is for someone who wants to grow with our company and add their energy and creativity to the team.

This full-time position is based out of Color Atelier's Brooklyn Showroom, at the Industry City. The environment is fun, and creative with lots of shops, and restaurants around, and also within short walking distance of public transportation.

We provide a competitive compensation package that includes a generous base salary plus performance-based bonuses and paid time off.

Position: Full-time

Start date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: Depending on experience, $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Hours of work and days: Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m

Work Location: In person

 JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Host showroom appointments, providing the absolute best customer service experience.
• Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and be capable of giving expert color, finish, and design advice.
• Help process orders, and prepare for shipment.
• Communicate daily with the San Francisco showroom to coordinate shipments and manage product inventory.
• Standard retail procedures and payment processing.
• Manage and build new and existing client relationships.
• Answer sales and customer service phone calls.
• Respond to customer inquiries and follow-up emails.
• Take customer orders through various methods (email, phone, in-person) and process through point-of-sale.
• Produce quotes, sales orders, invoices, and delivery documentation for orders
• Additional duties as assigned. Willing to jump in when and where needed. 
• Clean and maintain all areas of store and equipment as needed
• Product handling (over 60 lbs).

• Previous related work experience in a design-architecture showroom environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in using computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to take the extra steps needed to exceed our clients' expectations.
• Displaying a willingness to work with all team members and assist all customers in the showroom.
• Developing extensive knowledge across our products.
• Manage time wisely, work independently, and be a self-motivating proactive worker.
• Four years of High School with a diploma or Bachelor's degree.
