Color Atelier Base is a coarse, dry mix plaster product. It is designed to be used as a basecoat finish for Tadelakt wet area applications, and other plaster finishes, as needed. Base can also be used as a rough, interior or exterior matte plaster finish coat.
Coverage

32 lbs. will cover approximately 150 sq. ft. in 1 coat, depending on the application and substrate.

For each 32 lbs. of Base, you will need about 5 liters of clean water for mixing.

For wet area Tadelakt application, over the substrate preparation and waterproofing membrane, 2 coats of Base, 2 coats Tadelakt finish, and 2 coats of Wax-sealer will be applied.
